Surprise collection at summer lunch event

A huge thank you to the very wonderful Chris Hirsch and Katie Lovatt of Holland Hahn & Wills Financial Planning LLP, long time supporters of our charity, for generously including our CEO, Hicky Kingsbury as a guest at their summer lunch party for clients.

The guests were warm and inclusive, the sun shone and the food was delicious; everything you could ever wish for for an event like this.

Hicky said: "It was brilliant to spend time with old friends of our charity, Chris and Katie, and to make new ones. Being invited to say a few words whilst the wonderful dancers from London Kim's Dance Group had a costume change was an impromptu surprise and much appreciated.

It was great to have the opportunity to let guests know a little about our work, supporting local Kingston residents facing hardship. This even resulted in a lovely lady guest nominating herself to run a collection for us using a hat! She set about working the room for donations. I returned to work with a surprise £215 in cash to bank.
