Mayoral Sunday Civic Service

Our CEO Hicky Kingsbury and Justine Belcher, the Foundation's Community Lead and Grants Manager, attended a special Mayoral Sunday Civic Service on 4 June, to celebrate the start of the Mayoral Year 2023/24 for the new Mayor, Cllr Diane White at All Saints Parish Church in Kingston. 

The Mayor attended in Full Civic State (Robe, Chain and Mace). The service included contributions from different faith communities led by the Reverend Joe Moffatt, and followed the theme of this Mayoral year, ‘Every Child Matters’.

Hicky says: "We were delighted to be invited to be a chosen mayoral Charity of the Year, together with Voices of Hope. The team at Kingston Charitable Foundation and I are really looking forward to working with our new Mayor, Cllr Diane White and her team; both in fundraising and raising awareness of the theme she has chosen for the forthcoming year, 'Every Child Matters'."
